Bohuboli – Agrestic atrocity, slaughter, courage and love

The average folk in destitution are subjugated through ages by treacherous perfidious leaders. Bohuboli accentuates their torment and eventual slaughter. Inspired by two theatre actors, farmers rise against their local landlords and political factions, protesting against farmland being sold to the corporates. The profiting administration disowns and eventually decimates them.

Arna Mukhopadhyay highlights two shades of life – the agrestic atrocity, the ever scheming political lobby and their subjugation, and the courage of the deprived coalesce their love and warm-heartedness.
